Tucker J Hampson is a professional Assistant Editor and burgeoning Editor with a decade of experience in the industry, based in Los Angeles, California. After working on several documentary projects in Denver, Colorado, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production from The University of Southern California. While at USC, Tucker established himself as one of the prominent editors in the program, propelling multiple shorts to successful festival runs, and receiving the USC Annenberg Fellowship in Editing.

 

Tucker's most recent credits include editing an award winning documentary television show, assistant editing on a groundbreaking civil rights feature documentary, and assistant editing on a trio of young adult animated television shows utilizing cutting edge workflows with Unreal Engine. Tucker is a rostered member of the IATSE Local 700 Motion Picture Editors Guild, and continues to bring his technical knowhow and creative flair to a variety of exciting projects.

 

In his spare time, Tucker can be found running the roads and trails of LA in preparation for his next running race, collecting and repairing retro video games and consoles, and exploring cocktail bars in search of the perfect Old Fashioned.
